What is a PowerPlug?
You may have seen it mentioned on one of our products; ‘Sink with power plug’. But what exactly does this mean?
The kitchen is the vibrant heart of every home. Hygiene, user-friendliness and easy cleaning are therefore always top priorities in the development of our products. We think it is important to make things as easy as possible for our customers. The Powerplug was born from this philosophy. The Powerplug is a seamlessly integrated basket plug whose smart design eliminates the build-up of bacteria. So no more annoying - hard to clean - edges! Besides the practical advantages, this design also creates a sleek look! Besides the power plugs, our strainers have also been given a new look and feel in 2019. This makes them extra pretty to look at and the water flows away even better due to the wavy grommet!
More than 90% of our sinks have now been optimised and fitted with the unique Powerplug patented by Caressi.
(This is always reflected by the ‘PP’ in the product name, for example; CAPP40R10).

What does your ECO setting mean?
A large part of our range consists of smart ECO taps. These are water-saving taps, recognisable by the ECO icon. They feature a special cartridge that provides significant water savings of +/- 35% thanks to 2 settings: ECO mode and full capacity. The ECO mode is characterised by its air turbulence. The functionality is designed with a view to a more sustainable future.

What is a low-pressure tap?
Normally, boilers are often connected under pressure. When boilers are connected pressure-free, a low-pressure tap is mandatory. As soon as the temperature rises, the water in the boiler expands and increases in volume. If the volume cannot increase then the pressure rises. If the pressure becomes too great, the boiler may rupture. To prevent this, low-pressure taps are used. These taps do not shut off the outlet of hot water, and instead provide a supply of cold water. Thus, the boiler is in constant communication with an open tap through which the extra volume of water can drain. You will notice that after using hot water, the tap will continue to drip for a while.

What is a laminar stream?
Due to the air turbulence in the ECO setting, the tap logically splatters more than in a regular setting. Prefer no splashing at all? Then opt for a laminar perlator. A laminar perlator gives a crystal-clear, whisper-quiet water jet. The laminar jet thus works without air turbulence, but the water volume remains the same. Do you opt for optimum ease of use? Then choose a laminar stream.

How can I return a Caressi article?
If you wish to return a Caressi item, please send an email to info@caressi.nl.
Our returns department will create a collection order with DHL upon receiving the e-mail.
DHL will collect the collection order as soon as possible. It is important to note that we only accept return orders where the boxes have remained untouched, where there is no writing on them and where transparent tape has been used!
Once the collection order has reached us, you will receive a credit note.

What is a credit note / where is my credit note?
Since you are not allowed to change or delete an invoice after it has been sent out, a credit note can provide a later change or waiver.
Common scenarios when sending a credit note:
- An error on an existing invoice needs to be corrected.
-The customer receives a discount on the original invoice (after consultation).
-The customer returns an item and expects a refund.
In the latter case, the credit note is sent as soon as the returned goods are received! -
How can I make a service request?
It is important to us that our customers are helped as well and as quickly as possible. We will contact you as soon as possible, but at the latest within 48 hours.
Are you an end customer?
Then please first contact the kitchen shop where you bought your Caressi product. Caressi is a wholesaler and service is always provided via the kitchen retailer.

We always ask the kitchen retailer to fill in a service form. In that service form, we ask for the relevant article, invoice and/or order number and company name, among other things. It helps our service department if photos are sent along that clearly show the cause of the service report.

Once the request has been received, our service department will assess what the most appropriate solution is to solve your problem. In some cases, sending a part may already solve the problem. In more complex cases, we will contact our external service engineers.

The service technicians will eventually contact you directly to schedule an appointment. This way, we hope you will be able to use your Caressi product as soon as possible.
