Pull-out spout: a small detail that makes a big difference

When choosing a kitchen faucet, design often takes centre stage. The colour, shape and finish need to complement the overall kitchen style. However, it is usually the practical features that make the real difference in day-to-day use. A great example is the pull-out spout. This feature gives you greater freedom of movement around the sink, without compromising the faucet’s clean, streamlined appearance.

Pull-out spout: a small detail that makes a big difference

What is a pull-out spout?

A pull-out spout is a flexible spray head that can be drawn towards you. This allows you to direct the water flow exactly where you need it, making everyday kitchen tasks easier and more efficient.

In most kitchen faucet models with a pull-out function, the flexible hose extends by approximately 25 cm. After use, the spout neatly retracts back into the faucet. On Caressi models, this is supported by a weighted ball fitted to the hose beneath the worktop. This weight helps guide the hose back smoothly so the spout returns to its original position effortlessly.

When is a pull-out spout useful?

A kitchen faucet with a pull-out spout is particularly practical when you need extra reach around the sink. For example:

  • rinsing fruit and vegetables
  • cleaning the sink
  • filling large pans, oven trays or buckets
  • reaching different areas of a wide or deep sink
  • using a double-bowl sink

By pulling the spout towards you, you can easily direct the water flow exactly where it is needed.

If your sink is mainly used for simple everyday tasks, a fixed spout may also be a perfectly suitable choice.

Practical functionality without compromising design

A pull-out spout is a functional upgrade, but it does not need to be visually dominant. In Caressi models, the pull-out function is seamlessly integrated into the tap design.

In its standard position, the tap appears as a complete, elegant kitchen mixer. Only when you use the spout does the added flexibility become apparent.

Which Caressi faucets feature a pull-out spout?

Within the Caressi range, most models with a pull-out function can be identified by the letter “U” in the product name.

The following models include this feature:

1108 U    125 U  1112

Some models are also available without the pull-out function, allowing you to choose between a fixed or flexible solution within the same design style.

CA1114 U

The CA1114 U is a comparable model to the CA1108 U, featuring the same system in a different design.

CA125 U with auto-pull-back function

A standout model within the pull-out range is the CA125 U. This kitchen faucet also features a pull-out spout but operates differently from models with a weighted system.

The CA125 U is equipped with auto pull-back technology. The integrated hose retracts automatically into the spout, eliminating the need for a counterweight beneath the sink and ensuring there is no moving weight inside the cabinet.

CA1112 with removable spout

In addition to pull-out spouts, Caressi also offers a model with a removable spout.

With the CA1112, the flexible hose can be removed from its magnetic holder. This allows you to move and direct it more freely around the sink. After use, it simply clicks back into place.

The CA1112 is therefore not a traditional pull-out tap, but it still offers excellent flexibility.

Small detail, everyday convenience

A pull-out spout may not immediately stand out, but its benefits are felt every day.

It gives you more reach, better control over the water flow, and greater ease when rinsing, filling and cleaning.

It is a choice that combines style with everyday practicality — ensuring your kitchen tap not only looks right, but works perfectly for how you use your kitchen.
